Funkify can provide a small jazz group to play background music during a drinks reception or dinner. The jazz group can be booked play outdoors at summer events. For weddings, the jazz musicians can be booked to play during the ceremony, photos, champagne reception, wedding breakfast or the evening reception. Choose from:
Solo jazz piano or guitar
Solo jazz saxophone with backing tracks
Jazz duo of saxophone and guitar / piano
Jazz trio of saxophone, guitar and double bass
Jazz quartet of singer, saxophone, guitar and double bass
Other instrumentation can be arranged and we can provide a larger jazz group with the addition of trumpet, piano and drums if you are booking the jazz music for dancing, or if you are holding a larger event.
The jazz musicians play a selection of smooth jazz standards, upbeat Latin jazz and swing music. They have a comprehensive song list and can also play requests.
Classical musicians can also be arranged on request.
Funkify partner with a superb professional DJ, Lovelight Entertainment. The DJ can provide music for dancing before the band play, during the breaks between band sets, and after the band have finished playing. Lovelight will contact you in advance to talk about your music preferences and any special requests. Booking the band and DJ together makes sense as the band can share equipment with the DJ and this makes for a smooth transition between entertainments.
Lovelight Entertainment also offer a bespoke venue lighting service for creative and atmospheric venue lighting.
